Description: Interspiritual hypnotherapy is the art and practice of moving beyond the conscious mind and ushering in the mystery of the sub-conscious. From this place we can begin to work on specific issues of healing and empowerment. In this seminar we shall glean insights and techniques from the wisdom traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism and Sufism to experience a variety of methods to quiet and relax the conscious mind, cultivate compassion for self, and create an environment in the subconscious to help facilitate work on a variety of issues - ranging from smoking cessation to self-realization. Through hypnotherapy techniques that include spiritual reframing, working in imaginal realms, sacred holding, and expression and resolution we will explore the art of letting go, transforming anger, embracing grief and loss, creating inner peace, and cultivating joy. The seminar will consist of lecture, case studies and practice sessions. Appropriate for individuals for self-exploration, as well as for health care professionals for client-centered work.
Course Notes:Room 1062 (except February 20, room 184). One hour lunch.
